Celtic Harp
Jane feels such affinity with the Bible’s harp-playing King David (“Praise the Lord with the harp and lyre” Psalm 150, verse 3) that she was delighted to find an Australian-made Celtic harp. Such was her excitement in purchasing the harp that she did not even consider practical issues such as whether it would fit in her car. She had to borrow a friend’s station wagon to go and pick it up!

Jane loves the beguiling sonority of her harp, and the beauty of the music which she is able to play.

Pipe Organ
Even as a teenager, Jane was drawn to the organ, revelling in its ability to lift worship in church. It was not until her school leaver’s service that she first played for a church service. After that, nothing could keep her from the organ. Even now, sitting in an empty church practising the organ is one of Jane’s favourite pursuits. She could happily spend the rest of her life learning repertoire – the amazing organ works of Bach, Buxtehude, Franck, Vierne,Messiaen, Mendelssohn and many others.
